Beach proposal in Jupiter: Madi jumping into Zach's arms after saying yes

A couple of weeks ago, Zach wrote to me about a beach proposal in Jupiter. As usual with marriage proposals, a bit of chaos is inevitable. Therefore, it’s always crucial to make sure everything goes perfectly on the first try, because there’s no second chance.

As a proposal photographer in Jupiter, I arranged a meeting with him. First, we looked at the access to Jupiter Beach where he wanted to do it. Then I explained how to stand so the angle would be right. That’s when I met Zach, a kind and friendly guy, although a bit nervous. Our planning was meticulous: the moment, the position and the hiding spots. Finally, we said goodbye until a couple of days later.

The day of the proposal

On the day, Zach told his girlfriend they were going out to dinner. It was Friday afternoon, and as I like to say, “it’s Friday, and my body knows it.” They got in the car and drove north. Meanwhile, a friend of Zach’s called to say that several sea turtles were nesting at a certain beach access. Of course, that got Madi interested.

It was one of the hottest afternoons in July, and the plan was set for six-thirty in the evening. We shared our locations on our phones, and he texted me when he left his apartment. However, the wait felt long, and his location seemed never to update. Finally, the black car passed and parked. I got in position and waited.

When they reached the beach, there was no one there, no turtles, just a man starting to take pictures of them. Madi’s smile showed that she already suspected it. Zach didn’t wait long. He knelt in the sand, completely forgetting that he was supposed to do it closer to the water. But there was no way to stop that train of emotions.

After the first smiles, kisses and hugs, they were happy to take lots of photos. The heat was unbearable. Still, this beach proposal in Jupiter ended with them running along the shore, while their sweet and nervous dog jumped the waves.

How I plan a beach proposal in Jupiter

A beach proposal in Jupiter needs good planning. First of all, I meet with the future fiancé to see the beach access where he wants to do it. Then we decide the exact spot, the angle and where I will hide. After all, if we’re doing a proposal on the beach, the least we can have is the Atlantic Ocean in the background, and not the bushes.

On the day, we share our locations on our phones, so I know exactly when you arrive. Moreover, summer evenings in Jupiter are hot, but the light is soft and warm. As a result, a proposal around sunset gives you beautiful photos, and afterwards we can continue with a relaxed couple session, pets included.

  • Have a believable excuse. For example, Zach used a dinner plan and a call about nesting sea turtles to bring Madi to the beach.
  • Get close to the water. Kneeling near the shore puts the ocean behind you, but don’t worry if the emotions take over.
  • Bring your dog. Pets make the photos after the yes even more fun and personal.
  • Plan for the summer heat. Evenings are cooler, so bring water and choose light, breathable clothes.
