As a Jupiter senior portraits photographer, I believe senior portraits are the best way to celebrate this milestone before graduation.

I’m Dani Carretero, and I love photographing seniors in Jupiter. In fact, senior pictures are about your incredible personality, your contagious laughter, the things you value most and the young woman or man you have become: the one your parents are so proud of.

Juno Beach Pier at sunrise is a classic, with calm water and soft light. On the other hand, Harbourside Place gives an urban look with buildings and walkways right on the Intracoastal. Meanwhile, Dubois Park sits at the Jupiter Inlet, and Riverbend Park offers trees and trails along the Loxahatchee River.

Beach, nature or city vibes

First, ask your soon-to-be graduate what they want. Do they love the beach and nature, or something more urban? In general, the light is best during the first two hours after sunrise and the last three hours before sunset. Also, with the Silver and Gold packages we can combine two locations and several outfits.

03 · Yearbook

Ready for the yearbook

Palm Beach area high schools make it easy to submit yearbook photos online. I’ll provide a yearbook-approved digital file, and you choose your favorites to be retouched, not me.

I have been photographing for over two decades, and I’ve learned that, first and foremost, a photo session should be fun. As we plan your session, I’ll share the tips and insight that photographing so many seniors has given me. No question is too silly and no idea too crazy.

Many photographers decide which images get retouched. However, I don’t think that’s fair. With me, you see the full gallery and choose your favorites, and you receive a License for Personal Use to print and share them whenever you like.

How much do senior portraits cost in Jupiter?

I offer three senior packages in Jupiter: Bronze $295 (60 minutes, 30 photos, one outfit), Silver $395 (90 minutes, 45 photos, up to two outfits) and Gold $495 (120 minutes, 60 photos, up to three outfits). Also, extra photos are $5 each, or you can get the full gallery for $150 with any standard package.

What are the best places for senior pictures in Jupiter?

For a beach look, Juno Beach Pier at sunrise is hard to beat. For an urban style, Harbourside Place has great buildings and walkways. Finally, Dubois Park at the Jupiter Inlet and Riverbend Park along the Loxahatchee River are perfect for nature lovers.

What is the best time of day for senior portraits?

In general, the light is best during the first two hours after sunrise and the last three hours before sunset. For beach sessions, sunrise is my favorite: calm water, soft light and an empty beach.

Can you provide a photo for the yearbook?

Yes. Palm Beach area high schools let parents and seniors submit yearbook photos digitally, through an online portal or by email. I don’t submit them myself, but I’ll provide a yearbook-approved digital file that you can send in.

How do I book my senior session in Jupiter?

Send me a message, we’ll choose the package that fits best and find a date and time. A $50 deposit and a signed contract secure your spot, and the balance is due two days after the session. Dates fill up quickly, so it’s best to book early.

What do I receive?

You’ll get a private online gallery with all the photos from your session (180 to 300+, depending on your package), and you choose your final selection from it. Bronze includes 30 high-resolution digital photos, Silver 45 and Gold 60. You choose your favorites to be retouched, not me. Also, extra photos are $5 each, or you can get the full gallery for $150 with any standard package. Every image comes with a License for Personal Use, so you can print and share it whenever you like.

Can we share the photos on social media?

Of course! Share them on Facebook, email them to loved ones and make as many prints and albums as you like. All I ask is that if you share on social media, you tag Dani Carretero Photography.
