A couple of weeks ago, Zach wrote to me for a beach proposal in Jupiter. As is usually the case with marriage proposals, a bit of chaos is inevitable. Therefore, it is always crucial to ensure everything goes perfectly on the first try, as there is no second chance.
As a proposal photographer in Jupiter, I arranged a meeting with him to see the access to Jupiter Beach where he would do it and also to explain how he should do it so that the angle would be correct. If we are doing a surprise proposal on the beach, the least we can have is the Atlantic Ocean in the background… and not the bushes. That’s when I met Zach, a kind and friendly guy, although a bit nervous. Our planning was meticulous: deciding the moment, the position, and the hiding spots… and we said goodbye until a couple of days later.
On the day, Zach told his girlfriend that they were going out to dinner. It was Friday afternoon, and as I like to say: “it’s Friday, and my body knows it.” They got in the car and drove north. Meanwhile, a call from a friend of Zach’s announced that at a certain access point of Jupiter Beach, there were several sea turtles nesting, and it was a spectacle, which got Madi interested.
That afternoon was one of the hottest in July. Six-thirty in the evening was the established time. We shared our locations on our phones, and he sent me a text when he left his apartment. The wait felt long, and the location seemed never to update. The black car passed, parked, I got in position, and waited.
Upon arriving at the beach, there was no one, no turtles, just a man starting to take pictures of them. Madi’s smile showed that she already suspected it… Zach didn’t wait long, he kneeled in the sand, completely forgetting that he was supposed to do it a bit closer to the water, but there was no way to stop this train of emotions crossing the beach. It was clear that this beach proposal in Jupiter was here to stay.
After the first moments, the smiles, the kisses, and hugs, they allowed a lot of photos to be taken. The heat was unbearable, but this beach proposal in Jupiter ended with them running along the beach, with their precious and nervous dog jumping the waves.
Madi, Zach, I wish you both to be this happy forever.
