Newborn photography in Jupiter: the best way to remember your baby's very first weeks.

I'm Dani Carretero, a newborn photographer based in Jupiter, photographing new families at home across Jupiter, Palm Beach, Stuart and Port St. Lucie since 2017.

Those first weeks go by so fast. Newborn sessions capture the tiny details of this moment, with your baby cuddled in adorable poses for a timeless and classic look.

01 · Timing

When to schedule your newborn session

There's no need to book months in advance: just call or text me once your baby is born and we'll find a date together. For the session itself, I prefer to wait until around the third week after birth. By then babies have developed their true skin tone, and any bruising or redness from delivery has faded.

02 · At your home in Jupiter

Comfortable, safe and at your baby's pace

Newborn sessions take place at your home in Jupiter, Palm Beach, Stuart or Port St. Lucie, the most stable and comfortable environment for your baby. They last about 90 minutes because babies set the pace, so there is always time for feeding and settling. There's no travel fee within Jupiter.

Baby safety is my top priority. I handle every baby with the utmost care, respect and gentleness, and a parent stays with me as a spotter during the entire session. I bring two baskets and two blankets. Any other props or outfits you'd like to use should be purchased by the family: for hygiene reasons, I prefer not to use the same props from one baby to another. My blankets are washed after every session with Tide Free & Gentle, a detergent free of dyes and perfumes that carries the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.

We contacted Dani a few months before our wedding, and honestly, we had no idea what we wanted or even a real plan for how we were going to get married. Dani was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. He explained that the Florida sun and heat could be a lot for a wedding and suggested a sunrise ceremony for the best experience and photos. When I said I’d have to find someone willing to marry us that early, he even gave us the contact information for someone who could do it! (She was also amazing!!)
And the pictures are absolutely beautiful! My family and I are definitely on the shy side and can be pretty self-conscious in front of a camera, but Dani made us feel so comfortable. He had us laughing and enjoying ourselves the entire time!!

How much does a newborn photographer cost in Jupiter?

My newborn sessions in Jupiter are $395 for about 90 minutes at your home and include 30 high-resolution digital photos, usually delivered the same day or the next day. Extra photos are $5 each, or you can get the full gallery for $150.

When should I book my newborn session?

Do you come to our home in Jupiter?

Yes. Newborn sessions take place at your home in Jupiter, Palm Beach, Stuart, Port St. Lucie and nearby towns. There's no travel fee within Jupiter; outside Jupiter, travel is $1.50 per mile, one way from central Jupiter.

Is newborn photography safe?

Baby safety is my top priority. I handle every baby with the utmost care and gentleness, every pose is done with careful technique, and a parent stays with me as a spotter during the entire session.

Do you provide props or outfits?

I bring two baskets and two blankets, washed after every session with Tide Free & Gentle, a dye- and perfume-free detergent. For hygiene reasons, any other props or outfits should be purchased by the family.
