Family Photo Session on Jupiter Beach | Katelyn’s Family

During the peak holiday season, Katelyn reached out to me to schedule their first family photo session on Jupiter Beach. When we spoke on the phone to arrange the appointment, she mentioned that they had just arrived in Jupiter and wanted to start putting down roots and creating memories in this beautiful town in southern Florida. With that in mind, I suggested doing the photo session on Jupiter Beach, near the Juno Beach Pier.

The day was cloudy, windy, and chilly. There was a strong surf pushing the waves forcefully onto the sand. The autumn days and the beginning of winter in 2023 were all like this. Katelyn, her husband, and their two children arrived at dawn, and the first thing we did was joke that if it was chilly in Jupiter, we didn’t even want to think about how it was in Massachusetts.

If there’s one thing to highlight from this photo shoot, besides how much fun the older child, both parents, and the little one had, it’s the light. It was different from every other day. The sun on the horizon was casting its rays onto a cloud above the peninsula, creating some very unique pinkish lights and colors. It was a pleasure to accompany them that morning and help them create memories with this family photo session on Jupiter Beach.
